Questions, Drawn From Your Own Record
Questions worth raising with your care team, each one tied to the result in your record that raised it — so when you ask, you can point at what you are asking about.
Fifteen minutes is not long, and the things you meant to ask have a way of going missing the moment someone is waiting for you to speak. LexiTar turns your own records into questions, in your own words, that you can read off a screen in the room. Free, private, and donor-supported.
🔒 Encrypted & Private. We never host commercial ads or sell your health data.
Most people leave an appointment knowing exactly what they wish they had said. You read the result beforehand. You had a question about the one marker that moved. Then the conversation went somewhere else, the door opened, and you were in the corridor with the question still in your pocket.
That is not a comprehension problem, and a longer explanation does not fix it. What fixes it is walking in with the questions already written, in the order you want to ask them, next to the numbers that prompted them.
One screen, with four parts. It is a screen and not a printed packet — we would rather describe what exists than what would look better in an advertisement.

Plain-language definitions of the abbreviations and terms that appear in your record. Not a medical dictionary — a translation of the words on your own paperwork.
The markers LexiTar would reference next, grouped by body system, each with the reasoning that put it on the list. Standard demographic reference ranges, shown as reference and never as a target.
A scratchpad that works the moment you open the account, for the thought you had at 11pm. Each note sits beside what LexiTar found on the same subject.
Encrypted with a key you hold. No invitation, no queue, no card — the account is open and it is free.
Drop in a lab PDF or a results spreadsheet and LexiTar maps the markers it recognizes. You can also type results in by hand.
Once LexiTar has read the record, the questions, glossary and recommended markers fill in from it. The notes scratchpad is there from the first minute.
LexiTar is developed as a Digital Public Good and maintained by the Tiny Tars Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) public charity. It is not a commercial product with a free tier. There is no upgrade, because there is nothing to upgrade to.
Absolute Data Sovereignty. Your biometric data belongs entirely to you. Our system utilizes strict data minimization: we only host the exact reference data required to prepare you for your own appointments, and we maintain a permanent zero-monetization policy.
We do not host corporate advertising, we do not track you across the web, and we do not sell, rent, trade or monetize personal or health data. The work is paid for by people who think a patient should be able to read their own chart.
LexiTar is open now — there is no queue and no invitation to wait for. Leave your email and we will send you the link, then write once afterwards to ask what the tool got right and what it missed. Hearing that back is the whole reason we ask.
Medical Disclaimer: LexiTar is a health literacy tool and educational resource intended solely to support patient self-advocacy and improve communication between patients and their healthcare providers. LexiTar does not provide medical advice, professional diagnostics, symptom triage, or treatment recommendations. The questions, terminology definitions and reference ranges it compiles are for educational purposes only. Always consult a qualified, licensed physician or healthcare professional regarding any medical condition, laboratory results, or changes to your health regimen. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read or generate on this platform.
Privacy & Data Security: Your health privacy is paramount. LexiTar utilizes industry-standard end-to-end encryption to secure your record. Because a forgotten password would otherwise erase a record permanently, we also hold a recovery key that can reopen it — every use of that key is recorded and visible to you, and you can remove it from your account at any time. In strict compliance with Google Ad Grant policies and patient privacy standards, we maintain a zero-commercial-advertising environment. We do not use tracking cookies for personalized medical remarketing. As a donor-supported Digital Public Good, we never sell, rent, or monetize your personal or health data to third-party advertisers, pharmaceutical companies, or data brokers.
